In 2022-2023 I became trained and certified as a Birth Doula. I began this chapter of my journey with the birth of my first grandchild. I had 9 unmedicated vaginal deliveries. One was in a hospital and eight were at home. I have been a doula for women choosing home, birth center, and hospital for their birthing space. I have supported women without medical intervention, with medical interventions, and even planned C-sections. No pregnancy, labor, and delivery is identical, even for the same woman. Birthing new life into this world is a very special experience. I see the role of a doula as one way that birthing women, no matter where they choose to give birth, can have the woman to woman support that has traditionally been a part of childbirth. Alternative Detox Option
When you are pregnant, most detox options are not an option. Here I want to share an alternative option that I have used, and my children and grandchildren have used that offers lab made zeolites suspended in water which attracts positively charged particles (toxins are positively charged particles) and traps them in the cage-like structure of the zeolite. Because zeolites are so effective at attracting toxins, those found in nature usually already have toxins trapped in them, so they need to go through a process to hopefully release the toxins before they can be used by someone to try to detox.
