Changing Brands, Does It Matter?

Can your relate to this? “I am a super exhausted person and it seems there is no end in sight.” Well, that is where I was in April of 2009. My first trimester with my 7th child was over and always before, the fatigue had lifted once the second trimester began. Except this time, it did not. I hadn’t been doing anything different. I was taking “any brand multivitamin” like I was advised to do during pregnancy. I only took them when I was pregnant because in general, I was trying to be logical: God made us to eat food. I just didn’t realize today’s food isn’t as nutritionally dense as it used to be. I was telling a friend about my fatigue continuing and she told me that she had tried Shaklee’s supplements during her recent pregnancy and it had been so much better than her previous pregnancies. And here I was experiencing a pregnancy that was worse than others I’d previously experienced. However, I simply didn’t think changing brands would make any difference–but a few days later, I was still super exhausted and tired of having to stay in bed most of the day. So, I ordered a few Shaklee brand supplements that my friend recommended and started taking them. I started with Dr Shaklee’s original multimineral/multivitamin–vitalized minerals currently known as Liqui Lea….as well as Osteomatrix, Omegaguard and Herblax (my bowels had always been slow and pregnancy would just compound it). In fact I started to change brands to Shaklee after taking the Shaklee supplements that I mentioned above because the fatigue had lifted after taking them for about a week and I had started to feel like a new person. It surely got my attention and convinced me that not all brands are created equally. I later learned that it takes about a week for your blood chemistry to change, so I clearly had been deficient in one or more nutrients…even taking another brand’s daily multi. I recently looked back at my first orders and saw that I didn’t add B Complex till the next month. To be fair, my friend had recommended Shaklee’s protein supplement too, but I didn’t switch to Shaklee’s protein right away. It still took me a while longer to realize that most protein supplements on the market can’t compare with Shaklee’s quality. I mean when I realized that most Olympians won’t use protein supplements because 80% are tainted with unlabeled steroids and they are subject to random drug testing, and yet I saw a whole team using Shaklee’s protein supplements, it spoke volumes to me and convinced me to change my supplement brand completely to Shaklee. If Shaklee makes it and I use it, I buy Shaklee. And lets face it, supplements can be pricey–after all, they are supposed to be concentrated nutrition, but I switched not based on cost or cost savings, I switched because I got a very noticeable physical benefit from switching brands.

It was years later that I started learning about what Shaklee does as a reputable company to make sure their supplements are not only what they claim to be on the bottle, but also bio-available, and free of unwanted toxins and contaminants–350+–with 3rd party testing–and raw materials before production and finished batches tested as well. I didn’t need to know these facts to benefit from Shaklee, but later, it sure did help me understand why I had gotten such a benefit from switching brands. Once I realized what sets Shaklee apart, I have made it my mission to try to educate people about the quality and scientific proof that Shaklee has for its products–and not just borrowed science like most other health companies. I knew that if one family at a time switched their buying power to Shaklee brand, for items they are already buying, not only would they be taking money away from the mega companies that only care about the almighty dollar, but they would become a family of Generation Health–where age does not define the generation. Several years ago, the current owner of Shaklee proposed a mission to change sick care into well care. I could relate. I wanted the help people keep the health they have so that they didn’t need to get to a point of catastrophic sickness. And don’t get me wrong, Shaklee can and has helped those who are already sick–by giving them the pure, non-contaminated, quality building blocks for the body to use to build health and heal itself.

But the real beauty of a family switching brands to Shaklee is that the health and/or wealth built can be passed on to the next generation. This is because Dr. Shaklee pioneered not just quality health products, he also pioneered word of mouth marketing. He devised a way for people/families to be rewarded for sharing the health benefits of Shaklee’s brand in such a way that Shaklee Ambassadors can even pass on their Shaklee business that they build to their future generations. There really are some unique features that set Shaklee apart in multiple ways.

In fact, a Shaklee Ambassador that I crossed paths with in 2022 at a Shaklee convention as I stopped to give her directions to the registration booth–shared in about 5 minutes–a simple plan of how to help families with health and wealth at the same time. It resonated with me on multiple levels–but the simplicity of it was what really grabbed my attention. I was happy to have found Shaklee as a brand that I could trust–but even though I wanted to be able to share that with others–I, like many who fall in love with Shaklee’s brand–was not a business savvy person. I was a mom of 9 kids and had just become a grandma. I realized that somehow I had to pass on to the next generation what I had learned–but I was so busy with life–I didn’t have lots of extra hours to devote to a business. So, the short encounter with Grandma Swann–as she called herself– helped me see that all I had to focus on was finding three families to switch brands to Shaklee and to help those 3 find 3 families and help them repeat. Many people seem to find a product they like, but many times they stop there and stay with many other brands for other types of products. It really is in switching brands that not only do your health benefits increase from the consistent availability of good pure quality Shaklee’s products, but your pocket book has the potential to benefit too.

Being responsible for just 3 generations of finding 3, finding 3 to switch brands, you can enjoy a minimum of $800 extra income each month. And when I say, switch brands, that number is based on about $150-$180 of monthly spending. If you just switch brands for approximately $180 worth of products that you already buy other brands for (and you would be getting better quality products too) and then you find 3 others that do the same (with help from me or other resources)– with just 3 generations of duplication, you could have $800 extra each month. Would that help your family’s health and wealth status? Many other home based business companies out there focus on “making money” and the products are just a necessary part of that, but mediocre at best. And let’s face it, we could all use extra cash most of the time (especially as prices keep increasing). However, Frank and I have always cared more about quality products than the money to be made. So, if you can relate to that and would like to work on sharing quality health, fitness, beauty, personal care, and non-toxic cleaning products that work, that will improve a family’s health quality at the same time that those families can also work on improving their wealth quality–then take a look at Grandma Swann’s video that she shared with me in 2022 (scroll down on her website next to where it says: “My Story”**) and then get back to Frank or myself and we can help you understand how to get started improving your own health, and the health of others by growing “Generation Health”…which will set you in place to benefit your monthly income as well.

**https://www.lonnaswann.com/about-1  Grandma Swann says $1,000/mo. in her video because she is including the fact that you also become eligible for a price differential and other bonuses for certain additional activities, but those can vary, so I prefer to show the $800/mo. minimum possible with the plan that she shared.)
